Martha Melkovitz

Martha Melkovitz wandered into agriculture in 1950 when she married Cleo, a rice farmer from Tollville. Today, after many years and many hardships, including the loss of her husband, she is a partner in Keo Fish Farms. The operation is one of the largest aquaculture farms in the state and specializes in grass carp and hybrid striped bass fingerlings. From pulling fish to scheduling air shipments, Melkovitz has experience in all aspects of her Keo aquaculture operation.
